Unlike our packaged e-commerce plans, a custom site is charged on an hourly basis so it it wise to know exactly what you want from your site before we start the development phase. Don't let this scare you off... we will of course give you a rough estimate on the overall cost of the website, but it is much better for you to get all your materials together after the first consultation and before actual work on the site commences.

Of course we will lend our experience to an overall layout structure during our consultation for absolutely no charge to you.

Dynamic Sites

When thinking of long-term maintenance on your website you may look at creating some dynamic pages. An example would be current news section into your site where you would be able to post recent headlines and events whenever you wish. By turning this webmaster function into a clerical function, your company will not need the experience of a designer to update the pages on an hourly pay scale. You or one of your employees will be able to update the pages whenever they want with no cost. And all this will be as easy as inputting the data into a form on any Internet site, with just your Internet connection and your favorite browser.

An application like the one discussed above is very simple to set up. For a more complex scenario, such as an online inventory display system, we have some web packages we have already created that we can customize to your needs. This will keep the initial cost of development down. We don't see the need to charge anyone for the full development time of an application that we have already spent time on developing on an earlier site.
